The New Croft announces launch of new foundation

The New Croft Foundation proudly announces its official launch, marking a significant milestone in the community-driven efforts to enhance people's lives in Haverhill and the surrounding areas.

As the dedicated community extension of The New Croft in Haverhill, The New Croft Foundation is committed to enhancing the lives of individuals through a blend of health & wellbeing, football, and sporting activities.

The foundation has also partnered with local organisations such as Haverhill Community Sports Association, Ipswich Town Foundation and Samuel Ward Academy to engage with people of all ages and abilities. This collaborative approach ensures the engagement of local people, creating a meaningful and lasting impact on their lives while fostering a wealth of opportunities.

As part of The New Croft Foundation's official launch, we are excited to extend a warm invitation to children and adults alike to experience our Football in the Community programmes free of charge for the entire first week! Lois Balfour, Head of The New Croft Foundation, said: "Our commitment is unwavering, our partnerships are robust, and our vision is clear – to empower and enrich the lives of every individual in Haverhill and its neighbouring communities. Together, we will inspire change, create opportunities, and build a healthier, more vibrant future within our community."

Graham Jones, Trustee of the Foundation, said: “This was an exciting project for me to be able to get involved in, The New Croft Foundation will be providing so many additional opportunities to people of all ages, genders and abilities across Haverhill which I cannot wait to see. The foundation will have a real focus on reaching out to those hard-to-reach groups to enable everyone to gain an enjoyable experience. It's really good timing for all concerned as it links in perfectly with the new education programme and new 3G pitch opening at The Croft.”
